American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a uniformed scouting troop built around six Program Emphases to achieve the mission of building women of integrity. These six key components create a Christ-centered, balanced structure, providing girls with a holistic experience. AHG's goal for a girl who completes the program is that she has learned to be a Christ-following servant leader who is honoring, relational, anchored in Christ and component: a woman of integrity.
Our Troop follows a typical school year (Sept - May) and meets every Monday from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at our charter, Fishcreek Nazarene Church in Stow, OH. We started Troop OH4031 with our community in mind and look forward to welcoming all girls who are interested in joining! During our first AHG season (Jan 24, 2022 - May 2, 2022) we completed the Cake Decorating badge, Daughter of the King badge, earned a hiking patch, held several Service Days, and threw a Spring Fling. Our AHG season ended with a Court of Awards Ceremony and an epic dessert table! We plan on keeping the fun going throughout the summer by hiking, having a camp-in/lock-in, a fundraiser, swimming, visiting local parks, service projects, as well as hosting a Meet-the-Troop Open House for families who are interested in joining. We'll be announcing dates shortly via social media, signage, and email. We would love it if you would consider joining us for one of our fun activities and the Open House!
