Child labour continues to be a serious challenge in India, with millions of children engaged in work instead of attending school.

Driven by poverty, lack of educational opportunities, and economic hardship, many children are found working in agriculture, domestic work, construction and small industries.

While significant progress has been made in reducing child labour over the years, many children still face exploitation and are deprived of education, health, and a safe childhood.

Protecting children and ensuring access to quality education remain essential steps toward breaking the cycle of poverty and building stronger communities.

Meet Aarthi — a young mom from Ingali Village with a 2½-year-old son and a baby girl on the way. 💛

Through our Adopt A Village program, community workers walk alongside expectant moms like Aarthi, connecting them with the prenatal and postnatal care they need. The guidance and encouragement she's received has made a real difference—for her health and for her growing family.

And she's not alone. In rural communities, 40% of women face inadequate healthcare, often having to travel long distances to facilities that are both costly and under-resourced. The AAV program is meeting that need and changing lives.

Because holistic care doesn't just transform a mom — it transforms a family, a village, a community. That's the heart of what we do at KGF.

Meet Bebi — a mother, a fighter, and a living proof that transformation is possible.

From a small village called Naragayapalem, Bebi faced what so many women know all too well — the daily struggle to provide for her family and care for her two daughters, often feeling like there was no way forward.

But through a Women's Transformation Group, Bebi found encouragement, a community that believed in her, and access to a microloan that gave her the push she needed to start her very own small business.
