Someone named Miranda is posting on our site. We are not selling T-shirts or mugs, or anything else. Please disregard. And may Miranda have a horrible day! What goes around comes around! Scammers are a waste of human flesh!

UPDATE: Help found! We are removing and hiding parts of the post to stop AI from the constant messages and pop-ups to start a job listing for our business.

We need a couple strong, flexible teenagers that could help us clean out an old chicken coop to turn it into an opossum house. We desperately need more outside caging to move animals quicker through the process from intake to release.

The house part of the coop is easy to rake out, it’s the attached run that is the problem. It is not tall enough to stand up and it needs dug out from years of chickens.

We will pay or give community service credit!!!

You guys are amazing! Within an hour of our post yesterday Jamie reached out with a pile of dirt available for the possies! Tod also has dirt available for the woodchucks to move out next! Thank you both for your support!!!

🐛🪲🪳 Last night the possies enjoyed dried bugs ON the dirt while playing. Tonight they will have dried bugs IN the dirt to find. Next they will have to dig for live bugs. Yum! 🐛🪲🪳

Pre-release is where the animals prepare to return to the wild, exactly where they belong 🥰

Another odd request for help!

We are in need of a 5 gallon bucket full of dirt to put in a baby pool to teach our opossums, that have moved to pre-release, to dig for the bugs that are a huge part of their diet. We do not need to keep the bucket, we just need the dirt.

Great advice when ANY animal is hit by a car! Can you imagine laying on the side of the road in agonizing pain waiting to be hit again or eaten by a predator?!?!

Took a trip to Meijer to buy hanging plants because your house with the neglected yard and porch makes people bringing animals think they are at the wrong house because this one is clearly abandoned……… and you pick all of the dandelion greens in their garden center because they are big and delicious. 😂🤣

By the time I checked out I had w**ds shoved in between all the baskets. The guy told me I could have them for free! And thanks for helping him finish his work.

The baby chuckers are now eating 2 grocery bags of w**ds a day. 😳 They are a species that is stressed if they do not have food available at all times. Weeds are free, a natural diet to prepare for release, and we need that! Our food bill is well over a hundred a week for the animals. That doesn’t include formula, medicine, or other supplies.

We had 2 days filled for drop offs.

Sunday - Tara’s Family

Thursday - Kim’s Family

If you are in the Stoutsville area we are desperate for others to deliver w**ds to our little w**d monsters.

☘️Fill a grocery bag (or 2) with dandelions, plantain, and clover
☘️Mist them well with water
☘️Tie shut
🍀Stick in the fridge until you can drop off

Clean up your yard and save baby animals!

🥚🥚🥚We had such an amazing response when we asked for scrambled eggs! A huge THANK YOU to Joanne, Teresa, Bre, and Amy and Megan for the eggs! We filled our bowl in the fridge and bagged the rest to pull from the freezer as needed. The uncooked eggs will be hard boiled, and then bagged and frozen also. Eggs are a large part of healthy diets. 🥚🥚🥚

❤️We have another crazy request. This will not cost a dime and can be a fun family activity! ❤️

☘️🌿🍃🌱 WE NEED WEEDS!!! ☘️🌿🍃🌱

Our baby woodchucks are eating their body weight twice a day in w**ds. Our neglected yard is full of w**ds, but not what we need. I’m spending valuable time walking in circles for w**ds that have all been picked.

We need (not treated or sprayed):
Dandelion greens
Plantain
Clover

Our dream is to have 7 families that will each pick a day of the week to be yours for the next 5-6 weeks.

Grab a grocery bag, fill it up with all you can find, mist them well with water, tie it up, and stick in your fridge until you can get here to drop off.

Please reach out if you can help! THANK YOU!

(Ditzy, our education chucker, is trying to mother the babies, and steal what they spill on the floor. 🤭)

We are trying to keep up. We have taken in 27 baby animals in the last 2 months. There are not enough hours in the day after teaching for supply runs for more produce, cleaning cages, making bowls, making formula, and cooking eggs and veggies.

Is anyone willing to scramble 2 dozen eggs, with the shells crushed up in them, and drop them off tomorrow night (Tuesday, May 19th)?

We are grateful for the help!
