The Wisconsin Department of Health Services show that although the number of fetal, neonatal and infants deaths have been declining since 1980 in 2010 there were still 1011 deaths out of the 68,367 live births. Leading causes of Infant death included: Disease of respiratory system, Accidents, SIDS, Congenital malformations, deformations and chromosomal anomalies, Conditions originating in the prenatal period and Other causes. There were 361 fetal deaths with a gestation of >20 weeks. 189 were male, 163 female and 9 unknown. There were 257 neonatal deaths
