FOLKS is hosting a family friendly fishing event presented by WI DNR Fisheries, on August 27th, from 1:00-2:30pm at Fish Camp County Park. Even includes information on fisheries management (fish survey data, fish identification, and fishing regulations) and will provide an electrofishing demonstration.

END OF PIER PICK UP: End of pier aquatic debris pick-up is scheduled for next week beginning Monday, July 14 . All debris must be on the end of your pier by 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15. The barge crew will make at least one complete trip around the lake. Remember that the barge pick-up crew will collect only aquatic vegetation and other debris that have washed up on shore. They will not pick-up yard waste (clippings, sticks, brush, etc) or pet waste. They will not pick-up any vegetation that may be growing on the shoreline, but has not come out of the water. For further details, you can review the FOLKS website (Kegonsa.org) under pier pick-up program or the Dane County Land & Water Resources Department (LWRD) website under pier pick-up.
