Badger Honor Flight is incredibly grateful to the Stoughton Viking Lead Slingers for their very generous donation of $700!

The Lead Slingers, a talented youth shooting sports team that trains and competes in s***t and trap, raised these funds through concession stand sales during the July Sporting Clays Shoot at the Stoughton Conservation Club. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to supporting our mission is truly appreciated.

Thank you, Stoughton Viking Lead Slingers, for your generosity and for helping us ensure that our Veterans are never forgotten!

What an incredible end to a great season! đź’ś
On Sunday, the Viking Lead Slingers wrapped up the year surrounded by our amazing athletes and families. We couldn't have asked for a better day of shooting sporting clays, grilling up smashburgers, and enjoying a fantastic picnic loaded with delicious sides and desserts before moving into our awards celebration. 🍔🍰
We recognized so many of our athletes for their accomplishments this season—from individual awards, personal bests, and conference shoots, to 25 straights and state competition results! Our athletes have improved so much over the course of the season, and we could not be prouder of every single one of them.
This year was also especially meaningful as we paid tribute to one of our original coaches, Ted Olson. We were honored to present the 1st Annual Ted Olson Legacy Award—created to recognize an athlete who consistently demonstrates exceptional community spirit, team loyalty, and a dedication to giving back.
A huge congratulations to Robert Link for being named this year’s recipient! 🏆👏
We were so deeply grateful and happy that Ted’s family could join us for the celebration to honor his legacy and remember him together. Thank you to everyone—shooters, families, and supporters—who made this season and our end-of-year celebration so special! ❤️
