Request from one of our partners in town:
St. Anthony’s Free Market Food Pantry in Stoughton is asking for donations of a few much-needed items. If you are in a position to donate, please contact them or drop off items on the porch at 2 Park Ave. (near the library). ⭐️Please do not put food items in the Community Cabinet.⭐️

Hello, Stoughton-
St. Anthony’s Free Market Food Pantry is in desperate need this week. We have seen a dramatic increase in the number of clients we serve.
If you are able, we are asking for the following items:

5 oz cans of chicken
Albacore tuna
Marinara sauce
Fresh produce: bags of spinach, oranges, apples, onions, potatoes
White rice, 1 pound bags
Small bottles of cooking oil
Coffee
Tea
Jam or jelly

You can drop off at 2 Park Ave, front porch, and someone will bring the items inside.

If you have "cold weather items" (winter hats, gloves, scarves, etc.) in good condition that you are able to share, the Community Cabinet 02072 is a great place to leave them for someone who may need them. Please only share items that are in good condition. Clothing items in worn condition can be dropped off at the textile recycling bins located at Stoughton elementary schools.
Gentle reminder: the Community Cabinet focuses on non-food household items (personal care, cleaning products). Food donations are best given directly to a local Food Pantry or the several free pantries around town (Blessing Boxes or Little Free Pantries).

In case you’re wondering the storm blew one of the cabinet doors off. The doors were redesigned today and will be back on very soon.

For September, the Community Cabinet welcomes donations of school supplies. Since the weather is still variable, things not impacted by the heat are best: pencils, pens, erasers, notebooks, paper, folders, 3-ring-binders.

Check out this great way to get a bag of produce for $2! (And today they were giving it away for free.) Wednesdays April 21 and May 5, 3:30-5:30pm at the Old Colony YMCA - Stoughton.

Hand soaps and face clothes were put in the Cabinet this morning. There are also some food items and some children's books. Thank you all who are donating to this community resource.

2/25 Hello neighbors!
The Community Cabinet has been stocked with a variety of items. If you or someone you know need some bath soap, shampoo or dog food please stop by the cabinet and help yourself. There are also food items like cereal, beans and rice. Feel free to make frequent visits as the items in the Community Cabinet change quickly.

2/14 Today's drop off's include hats, mittens, scarves and socks. Please stop by if you are in need of any of these items. There are also some toothbrushes and some kid's toothpaste, dish soap, cotton balls and even some children's books. If you look closely there are some Valentine's Day treats as well!
