Once again, the Hudson Lions Club participated in the Coats for Kids drive.
The club has been collecting coats for over 10 years and donating them to the Second Show who distributes them for free to area families in need.
The last few years the club has also been taking some of the coats to The Salvation Army Hudson on 3rd St in Hudson. The Salvation Army has helped recognize families in need and made sure they are kept warm for the Winter.
This year we collected over 100 coats and would like to thank our drop sites, Hudson Shoprite, Hudson Area Library, Columbia County DMV, Christ Church, Kinderhook Toyota, S&F Technologies and Hillsdale IGA. The Hudson Lions Club is a volunteer organization who helps the community residents with a financial need for hearing and sight.
If you are interested in learning more about the club or joining please contact Lion President Matt Pirrone at 518-929-1280.
