The Chinese Students and Scholars Association at University of Connecticut is a voluntary, non-profit organization officially registered at the student association of University of Connecticut. The Chinese Students and Scholars Association at University of Connecticut (UConn CSSA) is a voluntary, non-profit organization officially registered at the student association of University of Connecticut. With large membership, and close relationship with other local community and organizations, UConn CSSA has been playing an active and influential role in organizing activities on UConn campus and in the Chinese community of Connecticut area, mobilizing local Chinese community and promoting Chinese culture. Over the years, UConn CSSA has organized many large events, including the annually Mid-Autumn BBQ and the Chinese New Year Gala, which attracted hundreds of students, scholars, and their families in Storrs area.
