Kappa Chapter recognizes the importance of standing together in support of survivors and against sexual violence. Our community has a responsibility to foster an environment where every person feels safe, respected, and empowered to speak up.
Being part of a Greek organization means more than wearing letters. It means living by values that prioritize integrity, respect, and the well-being of those around us. No brotherhood or sisterhood should ever outweigh someone’s safety. We must be willing to acknowledge harm, take responsibility, and hold one another to a higher standard.
To survivors: we hear you, we support you, and we stand beside you. You deserve to be treated with compassion and respect, and your experiences should never be minimized or dismissed.
To our Greek community: we all play a role in shaping the culture around us. Speaking up when something is wrong, looking out for one another, and refusing to excuse harmful actions are ways we can make our communities safer.
Accountability is not division, it is a necessary part of building trust.
Let us continue working toward a community where consent is understood, boundaries are respected, and everyone feels comfortable knowing that their safety will be taken seriously.
We believe survivors. We choose accountability. We commit to creating safer communities.
