We had a great time handing out Community Connection Bags to students last week. Big shout out to our partners, Storm Lake Police Department & Villager. In addition, huge thanks to ISEA for the Community Outreach Grant funds!

SLEA Members in partnership with SLPD & Villager filled Community Connection Bags this morning to distribute to students next week. Summer fun items were purchased with grant funds awarded through ISEA Community Outreach Grant and donations from SLPD & Villager.
Storm Lake Education Association chose this project due to the current COVID-19 situation many students & families are spending their summer at home.
We hope that these bags offer some summer fun to do with their family.
These Community Connection Bags will be distributed next week following the SLCSD lunch delivery.
