🚨Attention Please 🚨 Please read this two or three times. Looking for someone who is real serious about working. Kitchen staff, prep, put together sandwiches or deep fry. 1:00 pm-7:30 pm Monday-Friday, some Saturdays if needed. And possibly a person who could be a fill in as needed. The times are different on Saturdays. So this is what you need to do. Go to the cafe and get an application and fill it out. And if we like what we read then our manager will call you for an interview. Thanks !!! Not responding to the comments.

First-ever Chris Hefner Award given at Stony Point Elementary --

On Thursday, May 21, during the Fifth Grade Graduation Ceremony at Stony Point Elementary School, the first-ever Chris Hefner Award was given out to a deserving fifth grade student, Nyaomi Foote. The award was given in memory of Chris Hefner (inset), who retired from Stony Point after 28 years of teaching fifth grade. He was known as an excellent teacher who built relationships with his students. Chris passed away on April 10, 2026, after a brief and unexpected illness and his former coworkers honored him by starting the tradition of an annual Chris Hefner Award and having a portable mural painted of his favorite things by Keyley Sigmon of Keyley Shae Design Co. Pictured in this photo from left to right are: Chris’ former co-worker, Mr. Jordan Hefner, Chris’ wife, Tammy Hefner, Chris’ daughter and son, Lynee and Zach Hefner, award recipient, Nyaomi Foote, Chris’ former co-teacher, Chelsea Harrington, and Stony Point Principal, Jessica Mundy.

I had the best crew with me last night! The coolest part is that they were some of my former students. How cool is that!!! Big shout out to Maribel Bouchard, Maddison Towe, and Grant Sizemore for working along side of me.

Alexander Central High School Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony

Graduation Update:

Based on the latest forecast and for the safety of our students and guests, we have made the difficult decision to move the graduation ceremony indoors to the Varsity Gym. While this wasn't the setting we originally envisioned, please know this choice was made only after exhausting every other possibility to keep the event outdoors.
Each graduate has been allotted five guest tickets, and these must be presented for entry. Varsity gym doors will open at 3:30.
Additional guests may view the ceremony through a livestream in the auditorium on a first come first serve basis until capacity is reached. Auditorium doors will open at approximately 5:15.
Please be aware that stadium seats or portable chairs are not permitted inside the gym as standard bleacher seating is provided. Additionally, our clear bag policy will be strictly enforced to expedite security checks. We understand this change may be disappointing, but our priority remains ensuring our graduates receive the recognition they deserve in a safe environment.
