Hey Stony Brook medical students, undergraduates at Stony Brook University are looking for students like YOU to mentor them. Students in LMSA plus (LMSA's sister undergraduate chapter) and MAPS (Minority Association of Pre-Health Student) are eager to have someone help them navigate the process of applying to medical school (MD and DO, 3-year programs, and dual-degree programs), PA school, and other wonderful pathways in healthcare.
Benefits of becoming a mentor include a sense of fulfillment and personal growth, improved leadership skills, and forming part of a network of individuals who share similar interests and values. Make the relationship with your mentee what you want it, set up meetings or just answer their emails. It's up to you.
