🎓 Honoring Academic Excellence Across New London County!

Congratulations to the 2026 Eugene Atwood Award recipients an exceptional group of seniors nominated by their principals for academic achievement, leadership, and dedication to their future goals.

💰 This year, the Fund awarded $33,000 through the Atwood Award and an additional $12,580 through the Innovation Award to support students entering trade and technical careers.

🔧 Congratulations to the 2026 Eugene Atwood Innovation Award recipients! This award supports high school seniors preparing for careers in the trades by helping them purchase the tools and equipment they need to get started.

💰 We’re proud to share that $12,580 in Innovation Award funding has been distributed this year, along with $33,000 awarded through the Eugene Atwood Award to students recognized for outstanding academic achievement.

The Eugene Atwood Fund is excited to award over $98,000 in interest‑free loans to 16 students pursuing college, trade/tech, and certification programs. This long‑standing program continues to reduce barriers and open doors for students across New London County.
