We are beyond exited to host the annual Taylorville FFA Chapter Awards Banquet tomorrow afternoon in the Jack Dettro Gymnasium! Take a look at this transformation! Thank you to the Taylorville FFA Chapter and their partners for allowing us to be a small part of this special event!

Big weekend for volleyball! 🏐

Both Taylorville and Meridian 7th grade volleyball teams are competing in their State Tournaments this weekend, and we couldn’t be more proud of these girls.

Several athletes from both programs spent time developing their skills at SCC through TYS, CCYVB and Smash, and it’s exciting to see them continuing to grow and succeed at the junior high level.

Best of luck to both teams this weekend—your SCC family is cheering you on!

STATE YOUTH ARCHERY UPDATE 🎯🏆

Yesterday we celebrated placing SECOND at the State Shoot…

But after getting home, we were notified there had been a computer glitch — and we actually placed 🥇 FIRST 🥇 in the Youth Division!!!

We are beyond proud of this team and their hard work, focus, and dedication. What an incredible surprise and an even sweeter victory! 🏹

Ccyvb will be hosting a parents night out next
Saturday night! (feb 14th)
Anyone can attend-(doesn’ have to be ccyvb player)

Location: Stonington community center
Details- we will have a sports themed night with contests, (dizzy bat, free throw contest etc ) Photo Booth, dancing and fun! We will have different stations with different events
Pizza, snacks and drinks included!
Parents are asked that kid wears gym shoes.
Waiver will need to be signed.
Age: k to 5th grade
(If enough interest will do Older)

Price: $30 (can pay at door or Venmo ccyvb-2)

So proud of our 6th grade girls basketball team! 🏀
They battled hard at the Hillsboro Hoopfest, finishing 2nd place after an intense 1-point loss to Triad. What heart, hustle, and determination these girls showed on the court!

With a 25-8 record, State Qualified and just getting started — congratulations on an incredible tournament run. Way to represent! 👏🔥
