While camp suffered major damage during the June 16 storms, it has made a remarkable comeback. Thanks to the many dedicated volunteers who worked hard to reopen camp. In fact, almost 500 Cubs and family members will be at Cub-O-Ween this weekend to kick off camping back at Kinsey. So make plans now to sign up for Camp Turkey, the Centennial Camporee, Iditarod, and other great events at Kinsey Scout Reservation!

Attention all attendees of Fall Cub Family Camp 2022
Due to severe weather forecasts with 70 plus mph winds forecasted and heavy rain with possible tornadic activity throughout the night, and advisement by the Desoto Parish Sheriff’s office and the Camp Ranger, we are postponing ALL camping activities and setup for Fall Cub Family Camp until Saturday morning for camper safety. Registration will be moved to run between 7:00 am and 9:30 am tomorrow, with morning activities beginning at 10:00 am. Breakfast will be offered once packs complete registration as a walk through breakfast. PM sessions and dinner shifts will be time delayed, and a new schedule will be sent out tonight by email to pack/ troop leaders and all email contacts for the event. Staff should report at 6:00 am unless instructed otherwise by Mrs. Alexander.

As of today, there is still a burn ban at camp. There will be no fires allowed in campsites at Cub Camp. If this changes, we will repost here. Thank you for your understand and cooperation.

Fees are $45.00 for Cub Participants
$15.00 for Adults and Scouts BSA Youth Staff.
Saturday Meals will be provided for registrants. Friday Night and Sunday morning meals are not included.
