We're excited to announce our partnership with SWEEP, the AI-powered sustainability intelligence platform, to connect product-level emissions data with enterprise sustainability reporting for food and agriculture companies.

Our database, which covers more than 12 million product carbon footprints across food and agricultural supply chains, will be integrated directly into Sweep's platform. The integration allows companies to use ingredient- and product-level emissions data for Scope 3 carbon accounting, supplier engagement and regulatory reporting, without manually transferring data between systems.

Join HowGood and SBTi tomorrow to cut through the complexity of re-baselining with practical guidance built for industry teams. We'll walk through the key triggers and SBTi thresholds, share real examples from food companies, and cover how to handle shifts in emission factor databases, gaps in your original baseline, and alignment with evolving frameworks.

There will be plenty of time for live Q&A, so bring your specific scenarios. You'll leave knowing exactly when re-baselining makes sense, how to execute it, and how to frame it as the sign of progress it actually is.

Your Scope 3 data is getting better. Your methodology is evolving. At some point, that raises the question every sustainability leader eventually faces: do we need to re-baseline?

For many food companies, the answer is yes; and that's a good thing. Re-baselining isn't a complex setback or an admission of error. It's what responsible carbon accounting looks like when your program matures.

Join HowGood and SBTi as we cut through the complexity with practical guidance built for food industry teams.

Whether you're integrating supplier-specific emission factors, accounting for land use change, expanding into new categories like packaging, or navigating a merger or divestiture, restating your baseline is how your inventory stays accurate and your decarbonization progress actually gets counted.

In this session, HowGood and SBTi cut through the complexity with practical guidance built for food industry teams. We'll walk through the key triggers and SBTi thresholds, share real examples from food companies, and cover how to handle shifts in emission factor databases, gaps in your original baseline, and alignment with evolving frameworks.

"Consumer skepticism toward eco-friendly products shouldn’t be seen as a hurdle. Rather, this is a major opportunity for brands to prove themselves as trustworthy by providing palpable, science-backed information on every package.

Before brands put another sustainable product on the market, it is vital for them to ensure collaboration with suppliers to overcome product-level data collection challenges. This creates a reliable, foolproof system to develop true carbon transparency and provide shoppers with the information they need to feel confident in their purchases."

- Sam Webster, Director of Growth & Innovation at HowGood, on how can restore consumer trust in products in Packaging Europe

Scrutiny over greenwashing is intensifying, and the companies that don't get it right now face legal repercussions in the EU. In this article, Sam Webster, director of growth & innovation at HowGood, argues that consumer trust now depends on transparent, visible on-pack data backed by science.

"But the real value of granular measurement isn't avoiding legal risk. Rather, it’s about operational efficiency. When a company has a granular map linked to a carbon footprinting engine, they can run "what-if" scenarios: How would our footprint change if we moved our wheat sourcing from Kansas to North Dakota? What if we shifted 20% of our palm oil to a certified sustainable supplier?"

- Cate Battey, Director of Growth & Innovation at HowGood, on why granularity is key to in Food Logistics

You cannot reduce what you haven’t measured, and you cannot measure what you haven’t mapped. That's why supply chain mapping is the essential first step.
