Happy Columbus Day from INSIEME!

Today, we celebrate our Italian-American heritage and recognize the generations who helped shape the communities we are proud to be part of today.

For us, Columbus Day is also an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices, determination, and accomplishments of Italian immigrants who came to America in search of a better future.

As the next generation of Italian-Americans, we have a responsibility to honor that legacy, preserve our traditions, and carry our culture forward.

INSIEME After Dark is here. 🎃🕯️

Join us for a Halloween night filled with pumpkin carving, costumes, fall snacks, music, and a little friendly competition. Bring your friends, choose your pumpkin, and see who can come up with the best creation of the night!

Costumes are encouraged, creativity is required, and yes… we expect you to show up ready to compete. 👀

October is Italian American Heritage Month 🇮🇹🇺🇸

For us, our heritage isn’t something we only celebrate for one month. It’s in the traditions we keep, the families who came before us, the communities we build, and the responsibility we have to carry it forward.

This month, we’re proud to celebrate the history of Italian Americans while continuing to create our own chapter.

Remember when we warned you about the FOMO? Consider this the proof. 🍷🇮🇹

There’s something special about gathering around a table, sharing a glass of w**e, and watching new friendships form over a culture that already connects us.

Our W**e Tasting was more than just a night out — it was a reminder of why INSIEME exists. To create a place where young Italian-Americans can come together, celebrate where we come from, and build a community that carries those traditions forward.

To everyone who spent the evening with us, grazie. These are the moments that make INSIEME what it is. ❤️

✨️Meet our September INSIEME Spotlight, Olivia Greco! ✨️

Olivia is a recent graduate of DePaul University, where she earned her degree in English. With a love for choir, writing, and art, Olivia brings her creativity and passion into everything she does.

Her Italian heritage holds a special place in her heart, and she works tirelessly to preserve and celebrate the culture for generations to come. Olivia interns with the Casa Italia Library, where she spearheaded a campaign dedicated to transcribing and preserving the stories of our Italian and Italian American ancestors. She also helps organize the Casa Italia Vocal Scholarship Competition, continuing to find meaningful ways to give back to our community. 🇮🇹

Olivia’s dedication to preserving our history and keeping our traditions alive embodies what INSIEME is all about. We are so lucky to have her as part of our community! ❤️🤍💚

Thank you, Olivia, for everything you do to celebrate our culture and keep our Italian heritage alive for the next generation!

Grazie mille to everyone who came out to celebrate the Feast of Maria Santissima Lauretana in Niles, IL! 🇮🇹

We had such a wonderful time celebrating together, connecting with our community, and getting to know so many of our new members. It was truly special having you all there and sharing in this beautiful tradition.

What makes us happiest? Bringing the young Italian American community together in Chicago. 🇮🇹🏐

This weekend, we did just that with an amazing volleyball tournament filled with friendly competition, new friendships, and lots of laughs. A special shoutout to Nick Arcangeletti Nick Arcangeletti for celebrating his birthday with the INSIEME famiglia. We’re so glad you spent it with us! 🎉
