I am honored and excited to officially announce that effective July 1st, I will serve as the President of the Rotary Club of Stone Mountain.
This is more than a leadership role for me — it is an opportunity to help support the future growth, innovation, and transformation of one of the most important communities in DeKalb County.
Stone Mountain is entering a powerful new era.
From the upcoming $200 million Mountain Marketplace development featuring Costco, new housing, restaurants, and retail… to the revitalization of downtown greenspaces through the “Lawn on Main” initiative… to expanded trails, park connectivity, tourism investments, and the reimagining of the Stone Mountain Park experience — our city is positioning itself as a vibrant destination for families, businesses, tourism, community engagement, and economic growth.
Tourism will continue to play a major role in the future of Stone Mountain by driving economic opportunity, supporting local businesses, attracting new investment, increasing visibility for the community, and creating exciting opportunities for residents, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and young people alike.
And as these exciting developments continue to unfold, strong community leadership and service will matter more than ever.
That is why I am inviting my classmates, fellow alumni, business leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, faith leaders, young professionals, and residents across Stone Mountain, Decatur, DeKalb County, and Metro Atlanta to join me in helping shape what comes next.
Rotary International is a global network of 1.2 million leaders committed to “Service Above Self.” Together, we have the opportunity to support youth, strengthen families, serve seniors, champion education, support economic development, and create meaningful impact throughout our community.
Stone Mountain is rising. The energy is shifting. The future is bright.
And I want the community to know:
I am here.
I am committed.
And I am ready to serve.
If you have ever wanted to get involved, give back, grow your leadership, or become part of something bigger than yourself — now is the time.
Let’s build the future of Stone Mountain together.
