Matu Relief and Development Foundation is recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that served the community since January 07, 2016. We have planned hundreds of families with programs and services to help them to explains and to help them to overcome domestic violence, family's violence and abuse; traffic laws, read spam emails and letters, answer phone calls, etc.
We have reached thousands of individuals via outreach presentations, and programs designed to keep our community informed and fully engaged in helping us prevent family violence and teen dating violence, and credit frauds. Also, Matu Relief and Development Foundation will help Burmese Refugees to become more integrated into the American mainstream society through such means as job seeking service, educational outreach, and community support by way of helping interpret the languages at the hospital and the doctor's office, the different courts, and the various schools.
We also helped internally displace people in our homeland providing foods and shelters, mosquito nets, books and clothes for the Childrens.
Our Mission: The Matu Relief and Development Foundation provides education, prevention and intervention programs and services to those affected by domestic violence.
Vison: Arise and Shine. Our desire is to be a light to the Myanmar refugees primarily Matu-Chin community, including Lai, Mizo, Zomi, Zotung, Mara, Dai, Khumi, Kachin Karenni, Karen and Burmese.
