Today, we dedicated more than just a shelter — we dedicated a place of gathering, community, and laughter in honor of two people who left a lasting impact on so many during their short time on earth: Nevaeh Niemyjski & Chad “Wild” Myhre. ❤️🕊️❤️
This shelter beside the Splash Pad in Stoddard Park stands as a reminder of the strength of community and what can happen when people come together for something bigger than themselves. What started as a vision became reality through the incredible collaboration and generosity of so many.
In collaboration with the Nevaeh Niemyjski Memorial Foundation, and the Chad “Wild” Myhre Memorial Foundation, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the the Stoddard Lions Club, Lepke Excavating & Trucking, and the private donors who helped make this possible. This amazing collaboration created something that will serve families, friends, and our community for years to come.
We hope this shelter becomes a place filled with joy, connection, and lasting memories — a fitting tribute to two lives that will never be forgotten.
