When God is ready to change a person, there is nothing that will stand in the way of His plan ... not another human, evil one, generational curse, fear, failure or anything else that will block what God has planned for a person. Nothing can stand against our Great God.

I love to meditate on the attributes of God. How can we doubt when we see who He is. Our doubts are turned to praise!

2 Chronicles 20:6—“O LORD, God of our fathers, are You not the God who is in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can stand against You."

Romans 8:31—What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Psalm 18:31—For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God?

THE MINISTRY OF PRESENCE

Sometimes people don’t need a sermon.
They don’t need all the answers. They simply need someone willing to show up. A chaplain enters the places where life becomes fragile hospital rooms, correctional facilities, crisis scenes, military settings, schools, workplaces, and moments of grief and carries something powerful: Presence. Compassion. Hope. Prayer.
Chaplaincy is more than a position or title. It is the ministry of meeting people in the middle of their pain and reminding them that they are not alone and God has not forgotten them. A chaplain may never stand behind a pulpit, yet every hallway can become a sanctuary. Every bedside can become an altar. Every conversation can become an opportunity for healing. Every act of compassion can reveal the love of Christ.
“I was sick, and ye visited me…” — Matthew 25:36. The world needs chaplains who are prepared to listen without judgment, serve with compassion, respond in moments of crisis, and carry the presence of God into places where hope is desperately needed.
Chaplaincy is ministry beyond the walls of the church.

EL MINISTERIO DE LA PRESENCIA

A veces las personas no necesitan un sermón.
No necesitan todas las respuestas. Simplemente necesitan a alguien dispuesto a estar presente.
Un capellán entra en aquellos lugares donde la vida se vuelve frágil: habitaciones de hospital, centros correccionales, escenas de crisis, entornos militares, escuelas, lugares de trabajo y momentos de duelo; y lleva consigo algo poderoso: Presencia. Compasión. Esperanza. Oración.
La capellanía es mucho más que una posición o un título. Es el ministerio de encontrarse con las personas en medio de su dolor y recordarles que no están solas y que Dios no se ha olvidado de ellas.
Un capellán quizá nunca predique detrás de un púlpito, pero cada pasillo puede convertirse en un santuario. Cada habitación junto a una cama puede convertirse en un altar. Cada conversación puede convertirse en una oportunidad para sanar. Y cada acto de compasión puede revelar el amor de Cristo.
“Estuve enfermo, y me visitasteis…” — Mateo 25:36
El mundo necesita capellanes preparados para escuchar sin juzgar, servir con compasión, responder en momentos de crisis y llevar la presencia de Dios a lugares donde la esperanza se necesita desesperadamente.
La capellanía es ministerio más allá de las paredes de la iglesia.

Let go and don't control. Continue to love and pray for them.

Now it is time for us to tend to our own soul. One day your spiritual wisdom might be just what they need.

Barbara Rainey says to, "respect our adult children's need to make their own way, to grapple with the issues, morals, and cultural complexities of their generation."

May we all have His super-natural wisdom in loving our adult children well ... prodigal or not.

Colossians 3:23—Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
