Stockton Chapter of The Links, Incorporated

Stockton Chapter of The Links, Incorporated The Stockton (CA) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated is a part of an international organization with 292 chapters and over 16,000 civic-minded women.

The Stockton (CA) Chapter Links, Incorporated - Women with a heart for service who are dedicated and determined to enriching and uplifting the lives of the citizens in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties. Founded in 1946, The Links, Incorporated is one of the oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic

survival of African Americans and other persons of African Ancestry communities. The Stockton Chapter of The Links, Incorporated was founded in 1966 by group of friends who were passionate about strengthening the communities in which they lived. Today we continue on with our mission with members comprised of talented, influential, service-minded, hard working, and committed women, that serves all communities in the San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties. We have been instrumental in helping to enrich the lives of so many through a myriad of programs and services. The commitment of the members throughout the years has enabled us to serve the community and make a difference in disparities through our Five Face Programs: Health and Human Services, National Trends and Services, Services to Youth, International Trends and Services, and The Arts.

“It Takes a Village” is how we have been able to succeed and sustain our service. The Stockton Chapter of the Links, Incorporated collaborates with many partners that have supported our program through fundraisers and donations. We continue the traditions established by our charter members and build on the legacy they have left as we focus on enriching the lives of youth, women and men in our community. We are indebted to those who came before us and laid the groundwork for us to lead with excellence and serve with grace.

💚 Grateful for Community Partnership & Impact 💚

The Stockton (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated extends our sincere thanks to the CVAR Stockton Council for their generous donation and continued commitment to our community.

Through our Services to Youth facet, we have been working diligently to support emancipated foster youth by providing suitcases, essential personal items, and food items that represent dignity, stability, and care during a critical transition into independence.

For many youth leaving foster care, having a suitcase instead of a trash bag, access to daily essentials, and a reliable source of food makes a powerful difference. These donations help restore confidence, meet immediate needs, and remind our young people that they are seen, valued, and supported.

Thank you, CVAR Stockton Council, for standing with us and investing in the future of our youth. Together, we are building stronger, more compassionate communities…one act of gratitude at a time. 💙✨

Happy Kwanzaa!
On the sixth day of Kwanzaa we celebrate the principle of Kuumba or Creativity which means to do always as much as we can to leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it.

💚 Giving Thanks in Service!💚

The Stockton (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated continues to embody the spirit of service and friendship through action. Our members recently donated 17 suitcases filled with essential care items to foster youth at AspireNet.

Each suitcase included personal essentials such as a comb, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, soap, shampoo, floss, shaving cream, and a razor…small items that make a big difference in helping youth feel seen, valued, and supported during life transitions.

A heartfelt thank you to our Services to Youth (STY) Facet Committee for leading this meaningful effort and to every member who contributed with generosity and love.

Together, we’re building brighter futures…one act of kindness at a time. 💚✨
