San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) will provide free connections to any of the 15 community centers and 17 libraries in San Joaquin County on days when temperatures are forecasted to be 100 degrees or hotter and as long as they remain open.

Complimentary trips are available on Express, Local, Hoppers, Van Go! and Paratransit services for those who need a ride to a cooling location.

Express, Local and Hopper passengers should inform their bus operator or security officers that they are traveling to a cooling location upon boarding to ride at no cost. Van Go! is only available on a space-available basis, customers will need to call (209) 943-1111, option 3, option 1 to book a same-day reservation.

To learn which routes goes to or near a cooling center, use the RTD’s Trip Planner and select a cooling location in the drop-down menu.

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month!

Men's mental health often flies under the radar, but the numbers paint a sMen's mental health often flies under the radar, but the numbers paint a s picture:

🔹 29% of men are misdiagnosed due to neglecting their mental health, with their emotions often manifesting as anger.
🔹 Over 6 million men suffer from depression in the U.S. alone.
🔹 Every 13.7 minutes, a man in the U.S. loses the battle in his head – that's 105 men a day. 💔

These stats are a wake-up call. It's time to talk openly about men's mental health and break the stigma. Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
