This week is CPhA Legislative Week! Today, we will be exploring AB 309 (Zbur). The goal of this bill was to increase access to sterile syringes at pharmacies without the need of a prescription while also offering safe disposal and health resources for all patients. This bill was approved in October 2025 and is a major step in preventing the spread of HIV and hepatitis within our communities.

Hello everyone! We hope you kicked off finals week with a strong start. This week, we will be introducing the 2025-2026 APhA-ASP Executive Board. Elections for new leadership positions for the Class of 2028 will be opening soon, so please be on the lookout for more information!

A friendly reminder that P1s will not need to renew their membership, since it has already been paid for. P2s and P3s are able to renew their membership if they would like to take advantage of APhA member benefits and pursue honor cord credits!

Hello everyone! We are excited to announce that ASP will be collaborating with CPhA to host a Membership Benefits Luncheon on Wednesday, September 17th from 12:20-12:50 PM at PHS 109. We are inviting Giovanni Hernandez, the Manager of Membership and Continuing Education from CPhA, to speak about the various benefits that CPhA members can take advantage of!

This is also a friendly reminder that if you are currently an APhA member, you are also a CPhA member and can reap these benefits as well. Onigiri and drinks will be provided. Thank you, and we hope to see you there!
