Community Rally – Honoring 10 Years of Remembrance

This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the City of Stockton officially recognizing April 13–17 as Cambodian Genocide Memorial Week — a powerful commitment to remembrance, healing, and truth.

On April 7, we invite our community to gather at City Hall to honor the lives lost during the Cambodian Genocide, uplift survivor voices, and recognize the resilience of Cambodian families who rebuilt their lives here in Stockton and surrounding communities. As past community members shared, this journey is one “from the killing fields to hope” — a reminder that remembrance is not only about the past, but about shaping a more compassionate future.
