It’s been eight years! November 28, 2017 is when we received our nonprofit status and it’s been a beautiful, difficult, and rewarding journey since then. Those of you that know us understand that it hasn’t been without challenge, but it’s been through the support of our team and this community that we’ve made it at all.
We moved into our current building in 2019, right before the pandemic. This building has truly become our home, and is a place that we are incredibly proud of. With a fully realized industrial arts maker space, a community garden that thrives, a pop-up and performance venue that’s hosted bands from across the country and well over 100 local bands, partner programs (like the adventure playground) and partner organizations and small businesses left and right, it’s been a wild ride at 40 South Union!
For our birthday this year, if you’re so inclined to send a gift, we do have a request. As we fundraise to purchase the building to secure the facilities in the long-term, more testimonial data would be extremely valuable. Instead of asking for money, we ask for your feedback.
