On March 23rd, students from across San Joaquin County put their agricultural knowledge to the test at our annual Agribee Contest. We are so proud of all the participants who showcased their hard work, dedication, and passion for agriculture.

What an incredible night at the 31st Annual Taste of San Joaquin! 🍷🌾

Thank you to all of our amazing vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and guests who joined us last night to celebrate agriculture and support the SJFB Foundation for Agricultural Education. From delicious local food and wine to our exciting silent and live auctions, the evening was a wonderful success because of this community’s generosity and support.

Funds raised from the event will go directly toward student scholarships, 4-H & FFA grants, and agricultural education programs throughout San Joaquin County.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this event possible and look forward to seeing you again next year!

Happy 20th Anniversary to AgVenture! 🌱 Today we joined thousands of San Joaquin County third graders learning about agriculture and nutrition through hands-on activities.

This countywide program reaches nearly 10,000 students each year and wouldn’t be possible without the amazing volunteers and sponsors who support it. We loved bringing Natalie the milking cow to help students learn where their milk comes from! 🐄🥛

Last night we gathered for our Victor, Acampo & Lafayette Farm Center Dinner — a great evening of insight and connection for our ag community. 🍇🌾

We heard from Stuart Spencer, Executive Director of the Lodi Winegrape Commission, who provided an overview of the current state of the winegrape industry and what growers are navigating in today’s market.

We also received an update from the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office A.G.N.E.T. Task Force, sharing important information to help protect our rural communities.

Last night we gathered for the Calla Nile/Escalon Farm Center Dinner at the Escalon Sportsman’s Club — a great evening connecting with our local ag community. 🌾

We heard important water updates from South San Joaquin Irrigation District (SSJID) and Oakdale Irrigation District (OID).

Held our Tracy & Roberts Union Farm Center Dinner at the Moose Lodge in Tracy last week — an evening of great conversation and important updates for our ag community. 🌾

We heard from Rick Staas on the proposed Pacific Gateway Project and were joined by Supervisors Robert Rickman & Sonny Dhaliwal and the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office A.G.N.E.T. Task Force, who shared insights on regional efforts impacting our farms and rural communities.
