🎉 Attention Sierra Eighth Grade Families! 🎉

We’re getting closer to an exciting milestone—our Eighth Grade Promotion Dance is this Thursday! 🕺💃

The PTSA has been working hard behind the scenes to make this a Hollywood Night to remember, but we could use a little more help to bring the magic to life. With a limited budget and fewer donations than expected, we’re still in need of a few key items to make the night truly special:

We still need:
• 🥤 Soda & Bottled Water
• 🧁 Prepackaged Desserts
• 🍬 A Variety of Nut-Free Candy for the Dessert Table and prepackaged desserts

• 🍿 Large Bags of Pre-Popped Popcorn

💲 Gift cards to grocery stores like Costco, Smart and final would also be helpful or any monetary donations to make this event happen would be greatly appreciated!

If you’re able to donate, please drop off items at the Sierra front office anytime during school hours this week. Every contribution—big or small—makes a difference!

It’s that exciting time of year when we get to celebrate our students’ achievements! We’re kicking off our final fundraiser of the year—raffle tickets are now on sale for a chance to win reserved seating for 4 at 8th Grade Promotion or a reserved parking spot. Tickets are just $5 each. Every dollar raised goes directly to Sierra PTSA to support awesome student activities like our Welcome Back BBQ, grade-level shirts, Honor Roll treats, and 7th & 8th Grade Day!

Dear SMS Families,

We’re excited to start planning two unforgettable 8th-grade events: the dance and promotion! Everyone is welcome to join the fun and help us create something truly special. Let’s make these moments memorable together!

We’re also looking for enthusiastic new members to join next year’s PTSA board, as our current board members’ terms are coming to an end. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved, make a difference, and contribute to our school’s success.
