Partnering with local laundromats we are able to provide FREE laundry services in select towns. THE FACTS:
15.4% of people in rural communities live below the federal poverty line. While clothing and hunger are often needs that can be met by organizations, clean laundry is not. And a clean pair of clothes can often mean the difference between a job or unemployment, a child attending school or ski
pping, and in older kids, dropping out all together. Clean laundry for most of us is something we take for granted each day while there are many, 15.4% of people on average in our community, who’s life could look differently if they had access to clean clothes, linens, and more. Washed Away wants to make that difference but we need your help. WAYS TO HELP:
There are three ways that you can help us make a difference in someones life through Washed Away. With your time and talent. We need volunteers at Washed Away and experience for yourself the difference a clean pair of clothes can make in the life of one person at a time. With your treasure. By making a one time or recurring donation, whether monetary or in kind, we need your help to keep this going. With your words. Prayer being the biggest way to use your words to help us succeed in helping people. We will work hard, but we need God to show up and do what he does. And please, tell everyone you know! This enables more people to hear about what we’re doing so we can reach more people in need and gain more help to keep going.
