Good morning! As we all know, Lovejoy Cemetery has been neglected for quite sometime. Thanks to James Bennett and his son Clint, it was cleaned up yesterday. It looks spectacular! In speaking with Donald Bennett this morning, we have no one over the cemetery any longer. It was passed on to him but no funds were coming in to help with cleaning expenses, as well as Donald working a strenuous job that keeps him out of town. I’m ashamed that I, myself, haven’t been helping either with a child and grandparents along with TONS of other family members buried there. We, meaning myself, must do better! In speaking with him, I asked if I could find someone to come and take over cleaning when needed, in which he agreed. (And i have already found someone) But we need funds to cover these costs. I am asking for your help. I am also asking that someone will volunteer to help me manage this page as well as donations that may come in to help with the cost of the yard cleaning.
Let’s get together folks and make this happen. After all, this is the very last thing we can possibly do for our loved ones who have gone on to be with Jesus! If anyone is interested in helping, you can send donations to: 948 S HWY 129, Stockton, GA 31649 In Care of: Lovejoy Cemetery Families.
Someone please consider being an admin and helping me out with this. It’s always better to have 2 people when you’re managing other people’s funds.
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. And if you get a chance today or the next few days, go by Lovejoy Cemetery and see how good of a job James and Clint have done. It looks great!
