Hola todos 🌞 We hope you’re all having a beautiful Saturday!

Here in Stockton, to***co shops have become a common sight in many of our neighborhoods and we wanted to bring awareness to this reality.

BUT, we also want to remind our community that we come from long traditions rooted in healing, connection, joy, and care for one another. 🌻 Whether through family, storytelling, music, food, ceremony, laughter, or simply showing up for each other, our community has always found beautiful ways to heal and thrive together. 🌱🤎

Nopal welcomes you to heal in community with us anytime 🌵💛

To hear more conversations like this, stay tuned for Season 3 of our Telling is Political Podcast coming this fall 🎙️

On this Dolores Huerta Day, we honor her story, and the story of many other survivors and how we, as a community, can take action to listen, support, and protect them and all those whose stories have not yet been told.

As we honor resilience we are committed to continuing the work of many of our leaders that have sacrificed so much for us to be here.

Please take action on Tuesday however you can!

Thank you for continuing to share and keep community informed.

From horchata to churro flavors, the to***co and ni****ne industry is using our culture to profit from addiction. By weaponizing our culture—through flavors, colors, and imagery—they’re hooking the next generation before they even understand the risk.

Ni****ne doesn’t become safer just because it tastes sweet. ❌

Recognize the tactics, stay informed, and protect our youth from exploitation. Have the conversation with youth today about the dangers of flavored to***co and ni****ne products.

To learn more, visit ***cofreelatinos
If you or someone you know is ready to quit ni****ne, please visit KickItCA.org for confidential support at no cost.
