Mrs. Wobbles 🖤

Bonnie has an unknown neurological condition that the vets are speculating as Baylisascaris procyonis (raccoon roundworm) or Toxoplasma gondiI (a protozoan parasite found in infected car f***s). Since there is no way to really know until a necropsy is done, they can only guess for now. Despite her neurological condition she is still a sweet, happy girl who doesn't let her condition slow her down. She does have trouble getting around, so for her safety I bought a small pop up tent for her which she has customized with this cool window she can pop her head out of 😂
Don't worry, she only does it when it's time for meds or she wants me to pet her. She has popped all of the way out a couple of times but instantly goes back where she feels safe. I have tried giving her time outside of the tent, but because she is so wobbly she doesn't like trying to hop around and just hangs out in my lap instead. She's a little spoiled and has her own spot on my bed so she can sleep next to me and demand pets until I pass out lol I love her so much and so glad that despite her condition it doesn't seem to be slowing her down at all. 🖤

Sweetberry taking care of Moony + a big stretch at the end 🖤
Moonberry still isn't eating and is passing some mucus now. He has an appointment for this morning, so I'm really hoping he can make it to that.

Moonberry stopped eating last night and has been extremely gassy. He's still not wanting to eat much, but has nibbled on a couple pieces of hay. I've started him on my megacolon protocol and he at least seems a little perkier than last night.

Moony has very severe megacolon and we almost lost him last year to one of his flare ups. He had less than a 10% chance of survival, but luckily we have some amazing vets who saved him. Since his flare up was so bad, they did warn me that another flare up could possibly kill him, and that he would most likely need to be euthanized, so if everyone could send him some good vibes or whatever you believe in so he can feel better. Sweetberry needs him, so he has to get better. :(
