This morning The Harvest Club from Lincoln High School helped pick fruit from two houses.

We picked some delicious oranges and two varieties of lemons.

Thank you to Rocky Bongolan Balboa and his wife Christine for letting us pick from their beautiful food forest and for introducing us to their sweet dog and bunny rabbit.

This fruit will be provided to St. Mary's Community Services to help feed people in need.

With your help. We filled four crates with delicious Tangelo’s and another crate with Grapfruit and small navel oranges. Over 200 pounds that will not go to waste in the backyard and will now help feed the food insecure and hungry in our community.

Thank you to Cesar and Reyna Beunrostro for donating delicious oranges from your two trees.

Thank you to Valerie Hernandez for letting them know about us. You have been spreading the word and that has generated a few hundred pounds of fruit being donated.

Every tree and every piece of fruit helps to feed people that are food insecure. We are getting close to 58,000 pounds of fruit that has been provided to the Emergency Food Bank, St Mary’s Dining Hall, Community Centers, Churches and Pantries to be distributed to the hungry and food insecure people in our community.
