The 2nd annual Newman Wetlands Center We Are Water Weekend is almost here! After all the fun and meaningful connections of last year's event, we had to make this a regular thing. This year, we're screening the Love Is King film, Mother: Sisterhood in the Wild, hosting a panel discussion with the filmmaker and cast, kayaking, cooking outside, and taking a bus tour! Registration is open. Spaces are limited. Visit the comments section to register! All of this was made possible through the Marketing and Tourism Grant from See Clayton County, GA.

Malawi has stolen our hearts. The people, the culture, and the need. It was overwhelming to see the poverty. Yet we were received with love, kindness and joy.

We ministered to the children at two schools, distributed over 300 hygiene kits, sanitary packs and backpacks, visited the well sites we have repaired this year, as well others that are not operating that we will fix immediately. We also adopted an orphanage that we will continue to support.

I am not sure why God chose us… but I am grateful. Project Restoration Malawi is officially in full swing!!

Keep an eye out for our Mission November 2026. To include a Medical Mission, Well commissionings, Education Teacher Exchange, and a Playground installation at the orphanage.

Thank you Lameck, Theresa, Miss Tamo and Building Futures In Malawi for partnering and making this an enjoyable experience.
