Our Community Fun Day on May 22 was a great success, bringing residents together at the youth center. Children enjoyed the bounce house and trampoline, while community members benefited from health checks and information from Jamaica National Bank and the National Council on Drug Abuse. A highlight of the day was the informative domestic violence presentation by the Jamaica Constabulary Force. We look forward to continuing these valuable community partnerships.

Early childhood students participated in the GoldenEye Foundation Kool Kids Spelling Bee Competition, which utilized our facility for this exciting event.

The competition continues to empower and inspire young learners, building confidence, strengthening literacy skills, and encouraging a love for learning. We are delighted to support an initiative that helps prepare our children for a brighter future.

Read Across Jamaica Day

On May 6, 2026, we were delighted to spend time with the students of Free Hill Primary School as we participated in Read Across Jamaica Day under the theme, "Literacy Resilience: Foundation of Nation-Building."

Through engaging Bible stories, we shared valuable lessons that inspired and encouraged the students, helping them gain a deeper appreciation of God's love, faithfulness, and greatness.

It was a joy to invest in the lives of these young minds and support the development of literacy, character, and faith.

Hills of Spicy Grove Infrastructural Development,
A proud moment for our community!

On April 24, 2026, Spicy Grove officially became Hills of Spicy Grove, marking a new chapter of growth and development. The roadway was officially opened by Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness and attended by MP Robert Montague.

This infrastructure project has significantly improved accessibility and enhanced the quality of life for residents, reflecting continued progress and investment in our community.

School partnerships are a key aspect of our work. Oracabessa High School celebrated high achievers at a Prize Giving Ceremony on February 24. Keynote speaker C.E.O. Grace Taylor Myers encouraged the students to "Make Good Choices." Akeiva Duncan a long standing beneficiary at Spicy Grove Ministries was awarded for her academic performance. February Spicy Highlights!! Talking Love, Relationships and Achievement!

On February 14th (Valentine's Day), a Youth Empowerment Session was held under the theme “Foundations of Relationships,” with
Mr. & Mrs. Warren White as special guests. The well-respected community leaders led an engaging two-hour interactive discussion with the youth. Participants were empowered with practical guidance on the do’s and don’ts of building strong, healthy relationships.
