Every child deserves a magical holiday, no matter their circumstances. This December, our Holiday Helping Hand Initiative aims to bring joy to 100 children in need across the Atlanta Metro Area. We’re partnering with A Waymaker, Inc. and Thrive to provide new toys, clothing, pajamas, and essential household items to families facing hardship. Our focus is on veteran and active military households, furloughed federal employees, foster families, and children with disabilities. Your support can make a real difference in their lives. The Holiday Helping Hand is an annual community initiative hosted by Dare to Empower, Inc. that brings joy, hope, and relief to families facing financial hardship during the holiday season.

Each December, we partner with local organizations, businesses, and sponsors — including this year Thrive Church and A Waymaker, Inc — to provide toys, clothing, pajamas, and food baskets for children ages 0–14 across the Atlanta Metro Area.

The program ensures that every child experiences the magic of the holidays, and every parent feels supported, valued, and seen. Through the generosity of donors and community partners, we’ve served over 700 children since our founding and continue to make the holidays brighter, one family at a time.
