Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is seeking parents and community members who are interested in helping to further ensure school safety. The Village On Patrol (VOP) program encourages stakeholders to volunteer and assists the Clayton County Public School Police Department (CCPSPD) by observing and listening on their respective campuses to report any potential safety concerns. VOP Volunteers are tasked with being the eyes and ears of the school to assist in reinforcing the school’s established safety measures.

An informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. All interested stakeholders should attend. This meeting will be held at Jonesboro High School (7728 Mt. Designed to share information about the variety of avenues available to retired educators who may be interested in returning to the classroom during the 2022-2023 School Year, this session is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.
