✨ Alumni Spotlight: Mahamad Drammeh ✨

LB Legacy Network is proud to celebrate Mahamad Drammeh, our 2023 1st Place High School Scholarship Winner and First Generation Dorm Room Recipient. 🎓

Mahamad attended Morehouse College and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Currently, he's on the path to becoming a General Dentist, and we're still right here with him as he enters graduate school.

When asked about the impact of LB Legacy, Mahamad shared, “Receiving the LB Legacy Network Scholarship means far more to me than financial support alone. This scholarship represents belief, investment, and encouragement from a community that values education, leadership, and service.”

As a first-generation college student, Mahamad continues to inspire through his commitment to excellence, integrity, and serving underserved communities. We are beyond proud of his journey and all that lies ahead.

✨ Alumni Spotlight: Julian Trowel ✨

LB Legacy Network is proud to celebrate Julian Trowel, our 2022 1st Place High School Senior Scholarship Recipient. 🎓

Julian graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and is continuing his journey toward obtaining his Master’s in Nursing from Brenau University.

According to Julian, “LB Legacy was more than a scholarship. It was the introduction of a support system I will have for the rest of my life.”

Julian continues to embody leadership, determination, and excellence as he prepares for a future in healthcare. We are incredibly proud of all he has accomplished and excited to see the impact he will make in the lives of others.

LB Legacy Network is proud to celebrate Sariyah Willis, our 2023 College Scholarship Recipient. 🎓

Sariyah graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and aspires to become a compassionate and inspiring educator.

Regarding mentorship, Sariyah warmed our hearts by stating, “Being a part of LB Legacy Network has been so grounding and encouraging in my journey. I’m always grateful for Ms. LaTonya’s check-ins and genuine encouraging words.”

Sariyah continues to lead with purpose, compassion, and dedication as she prepares to impact future generations through education and mentorship. We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and the example she continues to set.
