Yesterday was a great day to serve our community while putting our new pumper to work.

Our crew had the opportunity to get some valuable hands-on pump training with the new truck during a community assist. There’s no substitute for real-world experience, and every opportunity helps us become more confident and better prepared to serve our district.

We’re proud to continue learning, training, and improving so we’re ready when our community needs us most.

Yesterday (August 3, 2026), Adair County Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a grass fire north of Highway 51 East.

We want to send a heartfelt thank you to Forestry, Mid County Fire Department, and Stilwell Fire Department for answering the call and working alongside our crew. Your quick response, teamwork, and willingness to help are greatly appreciated.

We’re thankful to have such dedicated neighboring departments that are always ready to step in when needed. Working together helps keep our communities safe, and we’re grateful for each of you.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 8:45 PM CDT for Washington County, AR, and northern Adair County, OK. A severe storm near Westville moving southeast at 15 mph with 60 mph wind gusts. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor away from windows.
