I have struggled with this topic for a while now....

9/11 should never be a sales opportunity. It should never be commercialized, exploited, or used as a way to make money from the loss of 343 FDNY firefighters.

At the same time, we have received a lot of requests for a commemorative piece over the years. As Taylor's Tins has grown within the fire service, we feel a responsibility to provide something meaningful for those who have asked us for it. But we REFUSE to profit from it.

110% of every sale from this collection will be donated to Friends of Firefighters, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in the days following September 11, 2001. The organization began by providing meals to exhausted rescue workers and support at FDNY funerals and memorials. Today, they continue that mission by providing free, confidential mental health counseling and wellness services to active and retired FDNY firefighters and their families.

Yep,110%. Taylor's Tins will add an additional 10%.

The original artwork for this commemorative piece was created by fire service artist Zack Newton, whose signature appears within the design.

Available as a 6" Taylor's Tins metal shield, keychain, or both.

We will make our donation publicly and continue announcing the running totals throughout the sale so there is complete transparency about where the money is going.

This isn't about selling September 11th.

It's about remembrance and reverence while making absolutely certain that something good comes from every single one sold.

Never Forget.

Available through September 30.

**Please** If you agree with what we are doing, like share and comment on this post. It helps spread the mission**

If you disagree with what we are doing, please let us know and why- will try to do better next time. Just know this is 110% coming from a place of love and reverence.

There is something incredibly powerful about seeing women in the fire service tell their stories in their own words. ❀️πŸ”₯

Women in Fire Vol. 2 is officially LIVE.

And we couldn't imagine a more fitting person to grace the cover than Genna McMillan.

Genna is an incredible human being β€” and someone CRACKYL has loved and respected since our very beginning. Getting the opportunity to sit down with her, hear her story and dig into the experiences that have shaped the woman she is today was an absolute honour.

Her cover story, "Strong Enough to Keep Giving," is Genna at her best: honest, strong, vulnerable, funny, resilient and, quite simply, badass.

And her story sets the tone for an issue we're incredibly proud of.

Women in Fire Vol. 2 is about more than celebrating women in the fire service. It's about creating space for the conversations that matter β€” belonging, leadership, life after shift, mental wellness, hormones and high-performance work, and the realities women navigate throughout their careers.

These pages are filled with hard-earned wisdom, humour, vulnerability and the voices of women helping shape the future of the fire service.

We hope this issue reaches not only the women who will see pieces of themselves within these pages, but also the colleagues, leaders, chiefs and allies who want to better understand and support the women serving beside them.

πŸ”₯ Women in Fire Vol. 2 is available to order NOW.

Orders must be placed by August 28 to receive a print copy.

⚠️ This is a special CRACKYL supplement and is not included with regular subscriptions. Even current subscribers need to order their copy separately.

And Genna β€” thank you for trusting us with your story, for being unapologetically you, and for letting us share a little of your badassery with the fire service. ❀️

We're damn proud to have you on this cover.

πŸ”₯ FIRE SEASON IS HERE β€” HELP US KEEP OUR FIREFIGHTERS FUELED & HYDRATED πŸ”₯

We’ve had several people reach out asking what our firefighters need, and we truly appreciate everyone who has asked!

As we head into the beginning of fire season, our firefighters can spend long, hot hours on grass and structure fires, sometimes without the opportunity to sit down for a meal. Small, easy-to-carry snacks and plenty of fluids make a big difference.

We are currently in need of:

β€’ Bottled water
β€’ Gatorade or other electrolyte drinks
β€’ Beef jerky
β€’ Slim Jims/meat sticks
β€’ Granola or protein bars
β€’ Peanut butter or cheese crackers
β€’ Trail mix
β€’ Nuts
β€’ Fruit snacks
β€’ Other individually wrapped snacks that can fit in a backpack or turnout gear pocket

Every case of water, bottle of Gatorade, and box of snacks helps us keep our firefighters hydrated and fueled while they’re out protecting life and property.

Thank you to everyone who continues to ask, donate, and support the Coweta Fire Department. Your support means more to our firefighters than you know. πŸš’πŸ”₯

Stay safe, stay hydrated, and please be fire aware β€” fire season is upon us.
