Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first-ever OSU Homecoming Tailgate!
We are incredibly grateful to our host, Coney Island Stillwater, for their generosity and unwavering support. Their team - from the owners and managers to the bartenders and security staff - went above and beyond to ensure this event was a success, and we could not have asked for a better partner in launching this initiative.

This gathering marked the hard launch of CAPA - a moment that has been years in the making. Built on dedication, perseverance, and an unwavering belief in the future of college athletics, CAPA was founded on a simple principle: every athlete deserves to be heard, recognized, and fairly represented.

We are just getting started. We look forward to hosting more events that continue to educate, empower, and elevate the conversation around the importance of a players association and trustworthy representation for athletes everywhere.

What does that mean? In practice, unionizing would give college athletes the same structural protections that NFL players have fought for—collective bargaining, standardized rules, and a seat at the table when decisions about their futures are made.

Instead of NIL being a chaotic bidding war that favors the wealthiest programs, a union framework could:

🛡️ Protect athletes with consistent health & safety standards
💵 Establish guardrails on compensation without limiting potential
