Yesterday’s official itinerary for the snoots was pretty rigorous 😉 , and today's will be identical:

​✔️Lay in shade 😴
​✔️Sit in pool 💦
​​✔️Roll in mud 🐖
​​✔️Enjoy cold treats 🍉
​✔️Stand under a hose shower 🚿
​​✔️​Repeat from sunrise to sunset 🔁

​Today will be 100°+ again, which means we will all be melting. ☀️🥵
​Is it hot? Brutal. Are the pigs living their absolute best, muddy lives while we sweat through our shirts? Absolutely. 🐽✨

However, this Friday during the Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps (OKMRC) annual volunteer workshop, OKSmART is sponsoring a table top exercise with gamification! Navigate the Chaos and creatively solve assignments. This leads to discussions on emergency operations plans in relation to community readiness for animal needs.

EXCELLENT NEWS!! We have already started fundraising for a second AKC Reunite pet disaster trailer. It is earmarked to be housed in the Tulsa Area. Our long term goal is to have multiple trailers stashed throughout this state with regional animal response teams. All of these will operate under OKSmART. Pcart members & friends: although my husband was not officially a member of our team, he fully supported my involvement at every level as well as our daughter Kirsten’s when she lived locally, not to mention the period of time we were both deployed after the Oklahoma wildfires last year. Some of you came to our home after our big 2018 full scale exercise here in town and he was the planner & cook for that.

Mike passed away last month and we are having his memorial at our home this Saturday. Just wanted our teammates to know that this behind-the-scenes honorary member supported all that we do.
