Big news for Library Giving Day on April 1.

Thanks to a generous matching gift from the Stillwater Public Library Foundation board members, every dollar given for Library Giving Day will be doubled, up to $7,750.

That means:
- $30 becomes $60
-60 becomes $120... you get the idea.

We were so grateful to host a farewell reception for Karen Chan, local artist and beloved instructor at Stillwater Public Library for more than five years. Last night Karen reminded us to nurture the artist within and realize with practice and patience, creativity can flourish in everyone.

It was a wonderful gathering of donors, students and supporters. It's clear Karen's classroom was much more that a space to practice painting - it was a place to connect, laugh, and grow together. We are so very proud to have provided support for this program, and grateful for the color, creativity, and community Karen brought to us all.

We are thrilled to share that the Stillwater Public Library Foundation has been awarded a capacity-building grant from the St. Croix Valley Foundation

This generous funding is specifically designated for strategic planning, allowing us to dream big and map out the future of how to support our beloved Stillwater Public Library. By investing in our organizational "behind-the-scenes" work, the SCVF is helping ensure we can serve Stillwater effectively for years to come.

A huge thank you to the St. Croix Valley Foundation for supporting the vision and growth of local nonprofits!

What a moment! The St. Croix Valley Foundation has awarded nearly $440,000 in capacity building support to 22 local nonprofits in the inaugural round of this exciting new grant program — helping strengthen leadership, systems, planning, and more across our region.

Super Cookie saved the day! Stillwater Public Library was full of giggles and wide-eyed wonder from 140 attendees at this morning’s Super Cookie puppet show with Ms. Kim! 😄
