SSMN had a front-row seat to the fun at the Bridge the Valley Bike Rally with our Kids Zone at South Lowell Park! About 75 kids stopped by for face painting, stickers, activities, and free flower & plant seeds—with face painting taking the crown as the day’s biggest hit. 😄

Thank you, Stillwater! 💚 Sustainable Stillwater MN was grateful to participate in Night to Unite at Washington Square Park. It was wonderful to connect with neighbors, local businesses, city leaders, first responders and fellow community organizations.

A special thank-you to Community Resource Officer Brad Junker, the Stillwater Police Department and all the safety partners who organized such a welcoming evening.

Pedal, play, and celebrate! 🚴🎉 After completing the Bridge the Valley Family Fun Ride, stop by the Kid Zone from 9 AM–3 PM for family-friendly activities hosted by Sustainable Stillwater MN. It's a great way to keep the fun rolling while exploring downtown Stillwater and the After-Ride Festival.

Kids can show off their festival style with face painting and temporary tattoos, or customize their rides with bike spoke cards and personalized license plates, or jump into fun creative activities and interactive educational games with us and Health Partners. There's something for all ages!

We're excited to share some wonderful news! 💙🌎 Sustainable Stillwater MN has been awarded a grant from the Kay Clint Fund of United Way of Washington County-East to launch From Climate Anxiety to Action during the 2026–2027 school year.

This new six-session program will help local high school students explore climate emotions, build resilience, strengthen leadership skills, and turn concern into meaningful action through a community climate project.

A heartfelt thank you to United Way of Washington County-East and the Kay Clint Fund for believing in this vision and investing in the next generation of changemakers. We can't wait to bring this program to students across the St. Croix Valley.
