Volunteer opportunity! Youth Advantage is holding its softball and baseball equipment distribution THIS Wednesday, April 1st (no fooling!) from 4:30-6:00 p.m. and we need volunteers! We usually have high school baseball and softball players assist us with gearing up the kids, but with the new later school start time, it appears that practices conflict with our event. If you or your 15+ year old child/children are familiar with these sports, we would appreciate your help! Contact Nicole at [email protected] to sign up. Volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes early for a brief orientation. TYIA!

Spring is in the air! When cleaning out your garage, please consider donating your gently used sleds to Youth Advantage. We use them for winter outings for our Brave Bold Girls, where some participants experience the joy of sledding for their very first time. Our office is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Dr. Andrea Saterbak has been an honorary board member of Youth Advantage (YA) since its inception. She is also a generous financial supporter of YA. Thank you, Dr. Saterbak for all you do for YA, your patients, and the ski community!

Beloved TCO Stillwater & Woodbury Dr. Andrea M. Saterbak has been a consulting physician for the U.S. Ski Team since 1998. This year, Dr. Saterbak headed to Flachau, Austria, as the team physician for the Women's World Cup slalom, where she supported Mikaela Shiffrin, who took first place, and Paula Moltzan, a local legend and Buck Hill Ski Team alumna who took second place.

And there is more reason to celebrate with both women on their way to Milano Cortina to represent Team U.S.A. as part of the women's Alpine Ski Team at the XXV Olympic Winter Games.

Cheers to Team U.S.A., and congratulations to Dr. Saterbak on nearly 3 decades of supporting this inspiring team.

Youth Advantage is seeking 1-3 high school students to volunteer in our equipment room 1x/week for the entire school year, preferably on Tuesdays for approximately 1 hour/shift after school. Athletes are welcome to take their season off. Contact [email protected] to request the position description. The volunteer hours count toward NHS and Key Club required volunteerism. Thank you!
