Payne County TSET Healthy Living Program

The overall goal for the TSET Healthy Living Program is to achieve a population-based impact by promoting strong healthy living policies and practices within organizations and local governments that will affect the greatest number of Oklahoman's, with a particular emphasis on those populations most at risk for to***co use and obesity. Three priorities:
• Prevent to***co use and decrease exposure t

o secondhand smoke.
• Increase access to healthy food.
• Increase opportunity for physical activity. The TSET Healthy Living Program targets places where it can make the most impact on our health:
• Businesses
• Cities and governments
• Schools
• Community organizations and institutions

The Payne County TSET Healthy Living Program is funded by the To***co Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) http://www.ok.gov/tset/. The Payne County TSET Healthy Living Program also organizes two coalitions that anyone in the community can attend. Coalition Meetings:

The Payne County LIVE WELL Coalition exists to ensure the ability to live well in Payne County.
•This coalition meets the 4th Thursday of every month from 3:30 – 4:30 pm at the Stillwater Public Library—room 313. The Stillwater LIVE WELL Coalition serves as an extension of the county-wide coalition to work on wellness initiatives that directly affect the ability to live well in Stillwater.
• This coalition meets the 2nd Monday of every month from 3:30 – 4:30 pm at the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce.
