Greenwood School of Music Preparatory Academy

Greenwood School of Music Preparatory Academy Formed in 2017, the GSM Preparatory Academy has over 100 members and offers programs for those of all ages.

We offer a nurturing environment and believe that every person can learn to sing or play a musical instrument. Our current program offerings include the Early Childhood Music Education, OSU Youth Orchestra, OSU Academy Singers, OSU Suzuki Strings, the OSU Community Orchestra, and Music Fundamentals.

The OSU Preparatory Academy’s Music Together® Summer Family Music Classes are back for a fun-filled 4-week session beginning June 8, 2026! Designed for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grown-ups who love them, these classes create joyful music-making experiences the whole family can enjoy together.

We have just ❗8 days left❗ in our scholarship fundraiser, and have reached 24% of our scholarship fund goal.

Each semester, we give out numerous scholarships to dedicated students whose families need a little extra help to be able to continue thriving in our program.

Donating to our PhilanthroPete will help ensure that we can continue to keep our rates low (they have not raised since our founding) and continue our scholarship program despite rising costs.

There is still a long way to go, and your support will help students access opportunities that wouldn’t be possible without financial assistance.

Congratulations on a wonderful Prep-a-palooza concert this past Saturday! The weather was so lovely, and the music outdoors made it even better!

Our GSM Prep Students met at the park for a potluck and playground time, followed by performances from our cello and violin/viola studios, and then solos by the students! Thank you to everyone who came out and performed for making the event a success! 🍰🌳🎶

Join the OSU Symphony Orchestra for a one-of-a-kind outdoor performance, Music Without Walls, as they close out the season in the heart of Stillwater.

✨ Mahler’s Symphony No. 1

Make an afternoon of it with local food trucks and special guests from Pete’s Pet Posse 🐾

This concert is part of OSU’s annual Arts Week and is designed to bring music beyond the concert hall and into the community.

BRAVO Cowboy Community Orchestra for a fabulous concert on Monday evening! The all-campus and community orchestra is open to all--from HS students to OSU faculty/staff/students and adults from the community.
