Youth Service Bureau YSB helps youth and families in the seven county area to learn the skills they need to be successful At YSB, youth and families find the support they need!

We provide quality service regardless of family income or insurance eligibility. We believe that youth and families should not be denied quality mental health services based on income or lack of insurance. At YSB, we pride ourselves on being affordable and accessible to youth and families who need our support and do not turn clients away based on ability to pay or lack of insurance. YSB knows kids and are leaders in instilling accountability among youth! Our goal is to help youth ages 5-25 take responsibility for their actions, develop the skills they need to better handle challenging situations, make amends to those injured by their actions and give back to their community.

Chemical Health Services

Our Chemical Health Specialists work directly in local schools to provide education, prevention, early intervention, and support around substance use and related concerns. Through individual support, classroom education, collaboration with school staff, and connections to additional resources, our team helps students make healthy choices and build skills for success.

Our School-Based Team

We are proud to have a dedicated team serving students across our local school districts:

Nikki – Lead Chemical Health Specialist serving Stillwater High School and the Alternative Learning Center
Tom – Chemical Health Specialist serving Stillwater High School
Gwen – Chemical Health Specialist serving Stillwater Middle Schools, as well as select high school programs in District 622
Mali – Chemical Health Specialist serving District 622 high schools

We are grateful for the relationships our staff build with students, families, and school teams every day. Their presence in our schools helps ensure students have a trusted resource when they need support.

🏈 BLANKET BLITZ IS BACK! 🏈

In 2025, YSB kicked off our very first Blanket Blitz, and we’re back and ready to rumble! Last year, much like some Minnesota sports teams, we fell just short of our goal.

This year, we’re hoping to get out of the red zone and into the end zone by surpassing our collection goal — and we need YOU on our team! 🙌

How can you help? Donate 1.5–2 yard lengths of fleece to YSB!

Every piece of fleece gets us closer to the goal, so whether you donate one length or a whole stack, your contribution matters!

Thank you, FamilyMeans!

We’re so grateful to FamilyMeans for partnering with us and inviting us to be part of the Stillwater High School football game Friday night. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community, share what we do, and be part of an evening that brought people together.

The night also gave us an opportunity to recognize and remember September 11, honor the support and sacrifice of our 911 dispatchers and first responders, and remember all those whose lives were lost. 🇺🇸

A big thank you to everyone who came out to the game and stopped by our booth to say hello! We loved meeting so many members of the community and appreciate your support.
