We are saddened to hear of Dolly’s passing and send our thoughts to her family. We are honored to partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and continue her legacy of inspiring young readers. After all, readers are leaders and can change the world.

Today, we join people around the world in mourning the passing of Dolly Parton.

Dolly’s legacy extends far beyond her music. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she transformed her belief in the power of reading into a worldwide movement that has placed hundreds of millions of books into the hands of young children.

At the Oklahoma Partnership for School Readiness, we are honored to help carry that legacy forward here in Oklahoma. Every book mailed to a child’s home, every story shared between a parent and child, and every young reader inspired to dream is part of the extraordinary gift Dolly leaves behind.

Her voice will be deeply missed, but her commitment to helping children Dream More, Learn More, Care More and Be More will continue to inspire generations to come. ❤️📚

We’re so proud of Kooper Walker, National VP of Development from Kingston, OK! He has been attending the August Planning Meeting with the National Executive Council. They’re making plans and preparing for a great year with FCCLA! His adviser, Heather Henson, was also able to attend and take part in the meetings! We can’t wait to see the great things this NEC has in store!
